I recently had the incredible opportunity to sit down with The RV Entrepreneur podcast hosts, Rose and Glynn, alongside my friend and fellow RV tech Dana Hext of Empower RV. This conversation was all about something I’m truly passionate about—empowering women in the RV world through education, hands-on training, and community support.
From My Own Journey to Helping Others
When I first started in the RV industry, I quickly realized how few resources were available for women who wanted to take charge of their own rigs. That’s what led me to become a certified RV inspector and to launch Queen Bee RV—so I could help women build confidence in their RVs through education and support.
On the podcast, Dana and I shared our journeys into this field, the challenges we’ve faced, and why we’re both so committed to helping other women break down barriers in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Building a Stronger Community for Women RVers
One of the highlights of our chat was discussing 52U, an initiative Dana and I co-founded to provide hands-on, practical workshops designed specifically for women. We created a space where women can learn, ask questions, and leave feeling empowered to handle their RVs with confidence.
The response to these workshops has been overwhelming in the best way possible! Seeing women go from feeling intimidated by RV maintenance to confidently handling tasks on their own is exactly why I do what I do.
Launching Queen Bee RV
I decided to take my passion for empowering women in RVing even further by launching Queen Bee RV. This venture allows me to focus on providing even more personalized education, coaching, and hands-on training to help women take control of their RV adventures. Through workshops, online courses, and one-on-one support, Queen Bee RV is all about giving women the confidence and knowledge they need to maintain and enjoy their rigs with ease.
